Install with an AI assistant

AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT and others) can do the whole install.

1. Copy the instructions

In the portal, open Ad Units & Tags → Install site tag → AI assistant and click Copy instructions for your AI. The instructions carry:

• your site, Publisher ID, Property ID and tag host;
• your site tag and every ad unit;
• a link to our machine-readable guide, llms.txt;
• the rules: one site tag per site, never copy tag.js, never change the ids;
• how to check the result with window.tgm.status().

2. Paste them into your assistant

Paste them into the assistant while it has access to your site’s code. It detects your platform (Next.js, Nuxt, Laravel, WordPress, plain HTML…) and installs the site tag once. It asks you where each ad unit should go, then checks its work. Review its changes before you deploy them.
