How Geofencing Works on TerraGaming

Geofencing is the core of TerraGaming Media’s targeting. Your budget is spent only on visitors close enough to actually visit your casino.

Every geofence has a 30-mile minimum radius, so there is enough inventory to deliver your campaign at a healthy CPM. The maximum radius is 150 miles. A new campaign starts with a 50-mile radius around the casino you chose.

Besides the area around your casino, you can add further target locations to a campaign — each with its own radius. Useful examples:

  1. A neighbouring city your players drive in from.
  2. A stadium or arena on game days.
  3. An airport, to reach visitors as they land.

Use Add Location in the campaign’s targeting step, search for the address, and adjust the radius on the map preview.

We use the approximate location of the visitor’s connection, at city level, at the moment the ad is requested. Visitors whose location cannot be determined are not shown geofenced ads, so you never pay for traffic outside your areas.

CPM rates are set per location by TerraGaming Media; the campaign builder shows the rate that applies to your geofences before you publish.
